We envision a healthy and productive community through child and youth participation

The main purpose of the organization is to nurture children and young people to accomplish their full potential despite facing social and economic challenges in their personal and family lives.

The organization believes in ensuring the future of children through present interventions that aim at securing better livelihood options for the future.

To have self-assured, disciplined and healthy children and youths living in a healthy community with confidence of becoming leaders of tomorrow

The process of youth leadership requires encouragement for young people to focus their creative potential towards the betterment of themselves, their families and communities they live in thus representing the best investment in the future of Zambia.

Improved quality of life for the children and youths

Since inception, the organization has reached over 25, 000 young people in Zambia with health and education information and services. The organization invests in young people through the provision of skills training as well as education support for OVC to remain in school and complete their education.

Youth Support Initiative exists because you are there for us and for the children we support. You can sponsor a child with education, feeding or clothing. Donate to Youth Support Initiative - Zambia through its Bank Account at Investrust Bank or through The Global Fund for Children – GFC.

You can sponsor a child with education, feeding or clothing. Your gift has real, positive impact on the lives of children in Zambia and will help further our efforts to educate, feed and clothe Zambia's most marginalized children.

The Global Fund for Children’s mission is to advance the dignity of children and youth around the world. GFC pursues its mission by making small grants to innovative community-based organizations working with some of the world’s most vulnerable children and youth, complemented by a dynamic media program that, through books, documentary photography, and film, highlights the issues affecting children and celebrates the global society in which we all live.

Youth Support Initiative's Website development was fully supported by GFC through its Opportunity Grants provided in 2016.

Twam: Tools with A Mission – UK

Tools with a Mission collects, refurbishes and sends out unwanted tools, enabling people in other countries to earn a living and to support themselves. In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self sufficiency is impossible without help.

TWAM started over thirty years ago, and has since then provided this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the UK and sending them overseas.
