We, at Youth Support Initiative are working towards a goal to ignite curiosity and provide opportunities for children in remote villages to learn STEM education. To support this goal, schools that primarily serve underprivileged children needs computers. These school serves students from disadvantaged families in grades 1-10. The computers will encourage the students to stay connected with the global economy while empowering them to learn STEM classes like Robotics and AI that Youth Support Initiative is bringing in for them through Avishkar Robotics and Coding for kids program. Providing these computers and STEM education is an essential investment in their education and a meaningful way to create equitable access to educational opportunities.
While STEM education at K-12 level is becoming increasingly advanced, students in many remote communities remain disadvantaged. There is a huge gap between rural and urban counterparts in the accessibility of these opportunities. With this in mind, YSI is working with schools in remote areas of India to provide various STEM courses on Robotics, AI, IoT etc. Help us raise funds to achieve this goal for remote schools in India.
